Professional Development

The world’s biggest and best children’s museum offers a variety of professional development opportunities that are cross-curricular, innovative, and hands-on! Educators K–12 are invited to join in programs set in a one-of-a-kind environment.

Workshops and Institutes Information

Choose one of our engaging workshops and institutes and receive Professional Growth Plan (PGP) points for license renewal. Network with educators while exploring new exhibits and gaining valuable knowledge from experts in the field of education. Contact the Customer Service Center at 317-334-4000 for more information.

Pre-Service/Post-Secondary Class Visit Information

Pre-Service and Post-Secondary Classes can visit the museum to learn about our educational offerings for students and teachers. The visit begins with a 30-minute presentation by a School Services staff member about informal education in the museum. Following the presentation, classes are provided a 30–45 minute tour of the museum's galleries. Throughout the visit, students will learn about educational resources available to students and teachers.
