From astronomy to paleontology—and everything in between—The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is full of hands-on science exhibits, experiences, themed days, and paid special events that ignite curiosity and fuel imagination in children and grown-ups of all ages, making scientific exploration accessible to everyone!
Dr. Taylor grew up pondering questions like "How do plants fight disease?" and "How do they 'talk' to one another?" She currently researches answers to these questions in her work as a professor of chemistry and biochemistry at Wabash College.
As our 2026 Eli Lilly and Company Visiting Scientist, Dr. Taylor offers a hands-on workshop several times throughout the year where you can explore how plants defend themselves.
All Visiting Scientist Daily Activities are included with museum admission.
