The Children's Museum Once Again Polls the Experts (Kids!) to
Determine the Top Toys for the Holidays

Annual Kid-Tested, Kid-Approved Toy Test to be Held Oct. 22

WHAT: The Children’s Museum Store is once again polling the experts (kids!) to determine the top ten toys for the 2009 holiday season. The 11th annual Kid-Tested, Kid-Approved toy test invites kids to visit The Museum Store and test their favorite toys for the holidays. This list of favorite toys will be compiled into a list for adults to access when choosing holiday gifts for the children in their lives.
WHERE: The Children’s Museum Store at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, 3000 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 22; 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 2–3:30 p.m.
DETAILS: The Children's Museum Store will once again invite young museum visitors into the store to play and vote on their favorite holiday toys.
  • Testers will be in the museum store on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Once each child has had a chance to test out their favorite toys, they will be asked to write down their choices on a ballot, which museum staff will then use to compile into the 2009 Kid-Tested, Kid-Approved Top Ten Toys.
  • This list is made available within the museum store and online for adults to use when choosing holiday gifts for the children in their lives.
  • The results of the 2009 Kid-Tested, Kid-Approved Toy Test will be made available to media on Monday, Oct. 26, 2009.
