My husband and I have been foster parents for the last 3 years. One of our family's biggest holiday joys is taking whatever foster kids we have with us to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. We love watching their faces as they slide down the Yule Slide over and over again.
This year we are super excited that we have a sibling group of 5 kids. Ages 5, 4, 3, 18 months and 4 months. We truly are counting down the days until we can take them and watch their faces light up with joy at all the Christmas excitement at the museum. They have never had a decent Christmas and we are thrilled to be the ones to show them how happy a family Christmas can be. We also have 2 children of our own ages 21 and 16 and they turn back into little kids every time we go to Christmas at the museum, which as their mom is a bonus joy for me.
