My daughter, Sophia, has always loved going to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, even from the first time, when she was just a toddler. As she has grown, her interest in the exhibits has grown, especially anything related to science. On one day, I remember her digging excitedly for bones in the dinosaur exhibit. An enthusiastic staff member praised her efforts, and talked about what real "dinosaur scientists" do. As she put away her goggles and digging tools that day, she turned to me with eyes shining and said, "Mama, I'm going to be a scientist!" She's continued to love all things science as she has begun school. Whatever she ends up being someday, I know her interests and curiosity were sparked and encouraged by our many visits to the Children's Museum.
