When our daughter was young (around 18 months old) and her hair was just growing, it was still pretty short, but had curls at the very bottom. It also had sort of a ridge of curls along the top of her head. One day, we took her to the dinosaur exhibit at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. We were walking around, showing her the dinosaurs and she pointed at the ridge along the back of the dinosaur and exclaimed "I have dinosaur hair!". We thought it was hilarious, not to mention that we thought it was great that she made the connection between the dinosaur and herself, especially at her age. For a few years after that, several of our family members affectionately referred to her as "Dinosaur Hair". I think that is proof that The Children's Museum sparks creativity and thinking even with the youngest of children. Our daughter is now seven with a full head of curly hair and still loves to go the museum any chance she gets.
