I have 11 grandchildren but 3 live in Ohio and we don't get to visit all that often. However, they always come to Grandma's house over the Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays. They have many activities that seem much more exciting then a visit to Grandma. Their ages are 8, 9, and 10. But, since I took them to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis several years ago, the thing that they look forward to the most has become our visit to the Children's Museum. They can hardly wait until it's time to go. We arrive early and start on the top level at ScienceWorks and then work our way down. We stop and have lunch and watch a play at the Lilly Theatre before continuing on ending at the dinosaur exhibit. The children especially love their visit to Egypt and before they leave they send an E-mail to their parents telling them about everything they did there. Our visit is not complete until they go down the Yule Slide. We're making memories that they will look back on and remember many years from now. I will always thank the Children's Museum for giving me the opportunity to do that with my grandchildren.
