I don't remember when I got my train, I just remember every time I played with it, I made memories. I played with many other toys along with my train, (Lincoln Logs, toy soldiers, cars, etc.), but the train was the common thread. No matter what new toy I got for Christmas each year, none stood the test of time like my train. It also meant a lot then, and now, that it was originally my Dad's train when he was a boy. It still works,(I even have the original box it came in), and I still get it out every Christmas. I hope to give it to my grandsons someday, and hope they enjoy it like I did....and still do.
