We asked for your help in naming our new WinterFaire friends, and you delivered! Thank you to everyone who voted on social media and in the exclusive members-only poll.
Let’s get to know the new characters in WinterFaire
Ember the fox
Warm, welcoming, and curious, Ember will greet you at the entrance to the exhibit.
Indigo the chameleon
Knowledgeable in all things mystical, the elusive Indigo will be found perched on an illuminated frozen fountain—the source of WinterFaire’s magic.
Flip the seal
A lover of carnival games, the energetic, happy, and carefree Flip will welcome you to the games area, inviting you to play alongside him.
Storm the ice phoenix
Brave, adventurous, and daring, Storm will invite you into his ice cave to play and explore.
Gerty the beaver
A no-nonsense gal and master woodworker, Gerty will invite you into the artisan’s corner to help her run the shop.

Thank you for helping us make WinterFaire the most amazing indoor winter experience in all the land. We can’t wait for the adventures these magical creatures will share with you in their enchanted forest home! As with all of our permanent exhibits, WinterFaire will be included with museum admission. Advance tickets are strongly encouraged!
