That’s the popcorn confection you may have chewed, swallowed, and licked your lips over since the earliest days of your childhood. Maybe you got a box when you went to your first baseball game. Cracker Jack has been around since the late 1800s. In 1937, the Cracker Jack people asked Hoosier artist C. Carey Cloud to design some little prizes to be hidden inside the Cracker Jack box. Cloud continued to design these prizes, or premiums, until 1964, when he retired.
