Down, set, hike! Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience® is our largest expansion in 40 years, and we are ready to celebrate. Join us for the Legends in the Making Preseason Party at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis on Saturday, July 22 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to get in on the action. Special guest Andrew Luck, of the Indianapolis Colts, will deliver a keynote address, and share his love of reading by reading a passage from one of his books from the Andrew Luck Book Club.
“Helping families maintain a healthy lifestyle is a key element of the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience®. We will introduce some of the fun ways to warm up for the one-of-a-kind experience during this unique preseason party. In addition to participating in sports-related activities, families will get a chance to meet superstar Andrew Luck and discover why he is so passionate about family learning, health and fitness,” said Dr. Jeffrey H. Patchen, president and CEO, The Children’s Museum.

- Go for the goal with the Indy Fuel slap shot activity featuring mascot, Nitro
- Perfect your swing at the Indianapolis Indians batting activity with mascot, Rowdy
- Tee it up with a golf pro and our friends at First Tee and see who makes a hole-in-one
- Get in the spirit for game day with face painting and balloon twisting

- Get your heart pumping with various fitness activities provided by Riley Children’s Health
- Snag a free T-shirt and drawstring backpack to take home
General admission is $50 per person, and a special VIP ticket is $100 per person. Children under the age of two are free. As a VIP, attend an exclusive meet and greet with Andrew Luck and even pose for a picture. The VIP tickets are limited capacity, so be sure to get one as soon as possible. Food and drink, including alcoholic beverages, will be provided. Classic ballpark food, such as hotdogs and hamburgers, will be prepared by our exclusive in-house caterer, Sodexo. The entirety of The Children’s Museum will also be open to explore during the event.
Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience® will allow children and families to learn and participate in many health and fitness activities through the world of sport. Parents and children alike can discover the ins and outs of popular sports, and learn from Indiana sports legends on what it takes to make it to the top.
Proceeds from this event will go to The Children’s Museum Fund, which ensures that all families, regardless of income, can experience the world’s biggest and best children’s museum and the new Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience®, opening Spring 2018.
