Architect in the Making

We spent tons of time there and went from exhibit to exhibit. He liked the dinosaurs, trains, water clock and Playscape. (ok, he REALLY liked Playscape) but his life was TRANSFORMED with Fireworks of Glass! I would have NEVER thought that Fireworks of Glass would have been something he liked. But he absolutely loved being there and building the most beautiful sculptures with the "glass" pieces. I didn't realize how much it changed him until we were home playing and he was replicating his building skills with his MegaBlocks, my kitchen spoons, his hot wheels, and anything else he got his hands on. We returned to the museum about 2 weeks later and he REQUESTED the "building" place. We went to Fireworks of Glass right away and he was so happy and enjoyed himself thoroughly. Needless to say, we bought a membership and have since added another child who is loving Playscape immensely! Thank you for what you offer to our children. As a mom who plans to homeschool, I know I can use you as a great way to help my children learn!!
