She lives in Michigan. So when she came down for a visit one weekend in May, we finally had a day free to visit. She decided that we needed a family membership instead of just a one-day pass (Thank You, MOM). That first day, the boys wanted to see everything, and we did! My oldest (5yr) is going through a dinosaur phase and LOVED everything in that exhibit. He was telling us about the dinosaurs before we could read the plaques. He hatched some eggs & did some excavating. My youngest (2yr) is going through a train phase. He loved being able to get on a train, play with the train table & watch all the different trains behind the glass and over his head. It's amazing we made it anywhere other than the lower level. Since that first day, we have tried to visit at least once a week (and bring friends since we have a +2 membership). My Mom kept asking me if I remembered the carousel, the clock, & the polar bear from my first visit when I was 15. (I grew up in Florida & every summer we would drive through Indianapolis to visit my grandparents in Michigan, now I live here, how ironic!) Every visit, we ride the Carousel, play with sand & water in Playscape, and visit the library. The boys earned enough points this summer to earn free tickets to the Haunted House. After every visit, my oldest says, " Mom, that was the best day ever!"
