Throughout the year we'll hear from eight bloggers as they share about their family's time in the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience® and how it inspires them to explore these sports back at home.

It’s nearing the end of the first year of the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience®, and boy has it been LEGENDARY! Hopefully by now you’ve had a chance to check this place out. Just in case, I wanted to give you a quick “run down” of our favorite activities at the sports experience. These are perfect for fall weather, so grab a scarf and join the fun!
As a Blog Ambassador (and long-time member), I have truly enjoyed this year and sharing our fun adventures at The Children's Museum with all of you! From golf to basketball and everything in between, we lived LEGENDARY this summer. I asked the kiddos to rank their favorite things to do and this is what they picked for you!
#1 Basketball for All
The kids loved playing basketball inside and outside at The Children's Museum. It was definitely one of their favorite spots. This was the first summer I saw my son, Roman, take an interest in playing the sport. I think the excitement at The Children's Museum helped build that. Earlier this summer, I wrote about the correlation of basketball and hand-eye coordination. I’m confident Roman’s basketball skills have improved from playing at The Children's Museum.
#2 Get Your Fitness On
One of Olivia’s favorite places at the sports experience was the least busy when we visited. She loved the Fitness Path! Walking and talking with Mom and Dad while trying out new exercise equipment was the perfect way to end more than a few summer nights. Get out there and try it yourself this fall! Psst…One of my favorite moments was watching my husband try out the equipment too!
#3 Need to Get A Little Energy Out? TRY THEM ALL!
Seriously, the sports experience is perfect for those kiddos beaming with energy. My son can’t stop moving. There's no surprise he gave this recommendation. If you really want to get a taste of this experience, set aside an entire day and do EVERYTHING. I’m talking golf, hockey, basketball, baseball, football and tennis! Not to mention the Tree House of Sports, an experience all on its own.
It had been my pleasure sharing the best of The Children’s Museum with all of you this year! Thanks to Lori and the team for having me! Now, onward to more adventures! See you around the Water Clock!
