Last year late September I lost my job while I was on a medical disability. I was indeed devastated, but being a single mother I couldn't show my daughters how sad I really was. I knew that with a fixed income a lot would change for us, and all that I had hoped to get them around Christmas would not be the usual. So I decided for the first time to pay for a family membership to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. I remembered as a child how much I enjoyed the museum and because we were going through a big transition in our lives I wanted my daughters to experience the same happiness. So for the holidays we came to the Children's Museum looked at every exhibit and right before closing the girls kept racing down the Yule Slide. Such great memories we have as well as newly generated ones for every visit we make to the Children's Museum.
