Holiday Mow

Pop pop pop, immediately Jayden spots the Fisher Price lawn mower at the Playscape. It's not the big, huge (to me enticing) Yule slide that grabs his attention. It's the lawn mower that makes his face light up. He is a normal, just woke up from a nap Jayden until he sees the yellow lawn mower with colorful popping balls. His face then lights up like someone turned on the switch to the Christmas tree at Monument circle (yes that many lights spark in his eyes). He is just a baby that wants to have fun. He is not tainted by the temporary Christmas decorations (including the huge Yule Slide). The pure fun the Children's Museum of Indianapolis provides for my baby is why we love it, especially during the holidays because despite the huge slide that gathers a long line, my baby makes a bee line for the lawn mower that is there all year around. The Children's Museum is a holiday all year and I get to see my baby's eyes light up everytime. That is the meaning of Christmas to me and why the Children's Museum is special to me.
