Hunt for Life

I remember my first trip to the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. I wanted my 5 young children (ages 2, 4, 6, 7 and 8) to experience all that the museum had to offer. We visited each floor. It was difficult to keep track of all of them. Each was fascinated by something different. We reached the Science exhibit all intact (at least I thought so.). Suddenly, I turned around to find that my 4 year old had disappeared. I contacted Security and the hunt was on. I have to tell you this was one of the scariest moments of my life. It didn’t take too long for the Security guards to find my daughter. She had wandered to the floor below and was digging in the sand. Although this was very frightening when it occurred, this event has become one of my family’s fondest memories.

I would like the chance to “hunt” once more through such a fascinating place.
