My daughter was three years old and very excited to see Santa Claus for the first time that year. We often begin our trips at the museum with the dinosaurs and work our way up. Well, when we eventually reached the Christmas area she was extremely excited and ready to see Santa. First we watched a show about an elf getting dressed for winter and we played pretend for a while in Mrs. Claus's kitchen. Finally it was time to get in line and see Santa!! When we reached the beginning of the line, my daughter could hardly contain her excitement. She was really into dinosaurs that year so that is what she was planning to ask for. It was finally her turn and she ran right up to Santa Claus with a huge smile on her face and told him she had been a good girl that year and she wanted dinosaurs for Christmas. She got her picture taken with Santa and was grinning from ear to ear. I was not surprised at all when we were finished with Santa she asked, "Mommy can we do that again?!!" :) She ended the trip with a race down the yule slide with daddy! It was a great time had by all. :)
