Minecraft: The Exhibition has left The Children's Museum. You can find all of our current exhibits here.
Limitless opportunities. Flowing creativity. Continuous exploration. And maybe the occasional llama. Just like the world’s most-popular video game, Minecraft: The Exhibition will challenge and inspire you to unleash your imagination on a massive scale that could help us build a better world together.
Throughout the exhibit, you’ll find life-size Minecraft creatures and immersive environments that are waiting for you to strike a pose. There are more than a dozen photo opportunities in the exhibit. We have to say, it’s pretty fun taking a selfie with your favorite mob. Not sure what a mob is? Check out our brief guide to Minecraft.
Here are some of the top photo spots in Minecraft: The Exhibition:
1. Steve
2. Alex
3. Wolf and Zombie
4. Llama
5. Mine cart
6. Enderman
There are many other mobs and photo opportunities in the exhibit, including: Iron Golem, Creeper, a life-size Minecraft bed, Zombie Pigman, Skeleton, and a Villager. Want to know more? Take a digital tour of the exhibit before your visit!
Other photo opportunities
There are two more mobs outside of the exhibit. Here’s where you can find them:
Moo! There are few mobs in Minecraft that are more chill than a Cow. You’ll find this laid back mob near the ramp on Level 1, next to the Rube Goldberg ball machine.
And make sure you visit our special Pixel8 Pop-Up Shop in The Museum Store. In addition to some great souvenirs, you’ll be able to pose with a sculpture of the most adorable mob in the game—a Panda! You just might find yourself overwhelmed with cuteness.
