The Children’s Museum has established a variety of programs to support our city, our neighborhoods, and the families that fill them. The Extraordinary Transformations campaign seeks to maintain and grow these programs. Your donation, no matter how small, impacts visitors tiny and tall. In the My Museum blog series, we’re showing you just that.

My family has grown up at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. Our first visit as a family of three was shortly after our daughter’s first birthday, and our son was less than a month old when he first visited the museum.
We’ve spent whole visits just in Playscape, just in the Dinosphere or just at ScienceWorks. I love experiencing familiar exhibits in new ways as the kids get older and their knowledge base grows.
I don’t think we’ve ever not ridden the Carousel on a visit, and the only time we’ve ever skipped the Rube Goldberg machine was when it was being refurbished.
When we are looking for family time close to home, The Children’s Museum is always at the top of our list.
