We went to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis and as we walked into the main area I realized that we were opening a door to our children. As working parents we often times miss the fun part of the girls' days. We were all in tune to each other and had a sense of wonder. Spending the day at the museum was priceless. It gave my husband and I the ability to see the world through the eyes of our children. I can not pinpoint one item that was "the moment", but rather the whole trip. Had we not went we would have missed the wonder and happiness that our children had while visiting Dora, walking in the Barbie Fashion Show, digging like real archeologists and the fascination that was the result of the water clock. We, as adults, were even allowed to be kids again and experience a sense of wonder (everyone loves a carousel and I even climbed through the tunnel with my girls!). The girls loved to be able to spend time with their parents and just enjoy each other. We loved the experience so much that we signed up for a membership and are planning our next trip next month!
