When my daughter was around the age of two, she absolutely loved visiting The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. She especially loved to play in the Playscape area. When it came time for potty training, she was very reluctant to start the process. We tried every type of reward or incentive from candy to stickers, but nothing worked. One day I told her that if she used the potty that I would take her to the Children's Museum. Well, almost overnight it worked. She thought that every time she went to the potty she would get a trip to the museum and she told everyone. It was hilarious to see this cute little 2 year old tell complete strangers at the grocery store, "when I poo poo on the potty, I get to go to the Children's Museum." My daughter is now 7 and we still get a good laugh out of this story.
