Math can be fun! Science Educator Don Riefler talks through how to solve fun math puzzles.
Remember these tips:
- Pictures are confusing. Turn them into letters.
- Pay close attention to how many you have of each item.
- Pay close attention to the signs.
- If you make the same change (add, subtract, multiply, divide) to both sides of and equation it will still be equal.
- Always do math in this order: Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract (and remember it with the mnemonic “My Dear Aunt Sally”).
