It's one of our favorite Christmas traditions. My oldest is now 10, but we have pictures from when she was as young as three of her baking cookies in Mrs. Claus's kitchen!
One of my favorite memories, however, is from just last year. We were making our annual visit and were about to leave the Jolly Days exhibit to take a ride down the Yule Slide when we realized we were close to the posted time for the "Indoor Snowball Fight." We were curious about what this could mean, so we decided to stick around. We were glad we did! All three kids lined up to get a soft snowball, and Mom and Dad lined up with their cameras. But when the battle started, so did the craziness! Dad ended up jumping in and having almost as much fun as the kids! The kids vs. parents battle was especially fun. We have many pictures of that day, but this is one of my favorites. My then two-year-old was not a fan of snow last year - too cold and wet! But he was excited to take part in this activity just like his big brother and sister without the fear of getting snow plastered all over him. The grin on his face says it all! I'm sure we'll be visiting the museum again this year to see what fun they have in store for us!
