Personal concierge service. A customized virtual shopping experience. A public library on campus.
These are just a few of the tiny things that help us help you have the best experience at the best children’s museum in the world. Here are some of our resources you may not know about.
Have a question off-site?
Our Call Center is available seven days a week at 317-334-4000! We can help you with program/class reservations and tickets for your guests, offer suggestions for your visit, remind you of member perks and discounts, and more.
Need help on-site?
Maybe you misplaced your child or backpack, need a diaper in an emergency, want to know which exhibits to see based on your family’s interests, or need directions for navigating our building and the Indianapolis area. Visit our Concierge Desk on Level 1. We also offer support for those with sensory issues, including maps and loaner items such as noise-cancelling headphones and fidget toys. And every exhibit has accessible interactives too!
Need help shopping?
The Museum Store now offers the Virtual Shopping Experience, where you can schedule an appointment with shop staff free of charge. They will help you find the perfect gifts for your family and friends. If you place an order, you can opt for free shipping or curbside pickup. Visit The Museum Store online to get started.
Looking for family restrooms?
What about restroom resources for parents and kiddos, such as a private nursing and bottle feeding space, family restrooms, and diaper changing stations? Head to the Playscape® on Level 3. There are also two family restrooms on the Lower Level of Dinosphere®, and one of the restrooms has an adult-size changing table.
We have your back—and your kiddo’s bum!
Need a break?
Want a spot to enjoy a flash nap, quick-service food, or your own pre-packed lunch? Head to the Food Court on Level 1, where you can find tables and seating.
Tired of lugging the kiddos around?
Rent a stroller or wagon on Level 1 in our Welcome Center (free for Member Donors). We also have coin-operated lockers that take 3–5 quarters depending on locker size, and free wheelchairs.
Wish you could hit the library and museum in one stop?
You can! The infoZone Library on Level 2 is a branch of the Indianapolis Public Library system. Use computers, explore topics of interest, and check out and return books from any IPL branch. The library is open seven days a week.
