10 Visit Tips to Make Your Trip a Breeze

Welcome CenterTip 1:
With new Plan-Ahead Pricing, when you buy ahead, you save! You also beat the lines! Start planning on our Tickets page.  
Welcome CenterTip 2:
Free parking is available in a parking garage and additional surface lots located on Illinois Street. The garage is connected to the museum by a covered skywalk. Check out this parking map for even more tips.

Lilly TheaterTip 3:
Tickets to Lilly Theater are separate from your admission ticket, but they are free. Pick them up at the Lower Level ticket booth.

Fireworks of GlassTip 4:
The museum is weapon and smoke-free (including e-cigarettes). Pets are not allowed in the museum or parking garage. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

CarouselTip 5:
Carousel rides are $1 per person per ride (free for members). A token machine is located on Level 4 near the Carousel. The Carousel line closes at 4:45 p.m.

RexTip 6:
Every day the museum ends with a special End of the Day parade led by the museum's mascot, Rex. Meet at the top of the ramp on Level 4 at 4:45 p.m. to join in.

ConciergeTip 7:
The museum's concierge can help make your visit a breeze. Stop by the desk on Level 1. The concierge will even supply emergency diapers!

Welcome CenterTip 8:
Coat check, lockers and stroller rentals are all available in the Welcome Center. See those and other Amenities here.

WiFiTip 9:
Free Wi-Fi is available between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
PlayscapeTip 10:
A private nursing area and Family restrooms are available on Level 3 in the Playscape exhibit.
