Did you know Earth Day was created five decades ago? The annual celebration encourages families to protect our planet and make it a safer place to live for future generations. The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is joining forces with several organizations around the world in celebrating Earth Day on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors will be able to participate in special hands-on activities listed below, as well as learn from local experts about ways to take action in their own communities.
Earth Day Activities made possible by 80 Acre Farms include:
- Corteva Agriscience: Turn your trash into treasure. We’ll begin with plastic bags and turn them into a fun wristband you can wear, share or trade!
