Explore the World of Engineering at Engineers Day at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

WHERE:   The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, 3000 N. Meridian Street

WHEN: Feb. 25, 2023 at 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

DETAILS: The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is excited to host Engineers Day. Visitors are invited to the museum for a day of exploration into the world of engineering! Local engineers will lead hands-on activities that will take a deep dive into how we solve problems through science and engineering.

Activities include:

  • Bridges and Lenz’s Law – American Society of Mechanical Engineers
  • Charging Forward with Electric Vehicles – BorgWarner
  • Mechanical Arm and Pendulum Demo – Society of Women Engineers
  • Electrical Circuits – Indiana University – Intelligent Systems Engineering
  • Robotics – Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
  • Bridge Design Challenge – Purdue IEEE – Student Branch
  • Engineering is Fun – Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
  • Light the Way to Engineering – Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
  • Engineering Green Energy – Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
  • Spin for Engineering – Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
  • Engineering is Fun - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
