DETAILS: One of the world’s most successful athletes, Jackie Joyner-Kersee will kick off her book tour featuring her new children’s book at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis today, Feb. 23, 2023.
Jackie dominated the women’s decathlon for many years—winning three gold, one silver, and two bronze Olympic medals at four different Olympic Games. Her new book shares how she overcame challenges early in life to rise to the top. She will read her book to several school groups. This event is not open to the public and is geared toward school groups who have already signed up for the event.
