FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WHAT: FREE admission Presidents Day
WHEN: Monday, February 20, 2023, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
WHERE: The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, 3000 N. Meridian Street
DETAILS: The Children's Museum of Indianapolis hosted a sold out free day where families were able to learn about voting, and even participated in the 1920’s election. They were able to meet a historic reenactor of President Abraham Lincoln and discover the story of Lincoln’s young life growing up in Indiana. Visitors were also able to learn what it took to gain voting rights and why some people had to wait longer than others to vote. Families with children eight and older were able to meet some incredible kids who made a difference in the Power of Children exhibit located on level three of the museum. We had an AMAZING turnout on Presidents Day at The Children's Museum.
