NASA personnel and spokespeople:
- Jane Rigby, Webb Space Telescope Senior Project Scientist
- Media Availability: 2-3 p.m. on April 6 and 7 at Children’s Museum
- Joshua Schlieder, Roman Space Telescope Wide Field Instrument Scientist
- Media Availability: 3-4 p.m. on April 6 and 7 at the Children’s Museum
- Six different NASA scientists will be available (see schedule below with names and titles).
- Subjects they will discuss include the sun, the Artemis mission to return to the moon and two different space telescopes.
- Presentations will take place in the Atrium at 11 and 1 and in the STEMLab on Level 4 at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. both days.
- NASA representatives will have tables with information & giveaways in the Sunburst Atrium from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. both days.
- NASA presentations in the Sunburst Atrium will take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- STEMLab presentations will take place at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. both days.
- They will be talking about heliophysics (planetary alignment), the sun, the Artemis mission to return to the moon and 2 different space telescopes.
- NASA representatives will have tables with information and giveaways in the atrium from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. both days.

Dive into eclipse-themed art projects, explore mythological explanations for eclipses in different cultures and discover the science behind the celestial spectacle. Plus, immerse yourself in our exclusive program, "Shadows of the Moon," running throughout the day in the STEM Lab within the museum’s Corteva Agriscience ScienceWorks!
But wait, there is more! Explore the wonders of telescopes and astronomy with volunteers from the Indiana Astronomical Society and enjoy limited outdoor viewing of the eclipse in the museum’s Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience®.
All Eclipse Extravaganza activities are FREE for members and included with regular paid admission to the Museum.
