Making Your Mark: Protest Art (Grades 6–8)

In-person in our classrooms on Level 1

Capacity: 30 students per session
Our Humanities educators can provide up to four sessions of this program in a day, subject to availability. Request this Arts & Humanities program when you call to schedule your field trip.

Learn about the tradition of protest art and how artists have used their art to share a message, particularly regarding the Black Lives Matter mural in Indianapolis in 2020. Students will work in teams to plan their own work of protest art.
