Free Days
The best things in life are free memories! We want all children and families to visit this most extraordinary place, so we’ll open up the museum with free admission on these days:*- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Third Monday in January)
- Presidents Day (Third Monday in February)
- Juneteenth Jamboree (First Saturday in June)
- Fiesta de la Familia (Third Sunday in September)
- Christmas Eve (December 24, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.)
*Tickets are required and are released 10 days prior to the free day.
First Thursday Nights
From 4–8 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month, we welcome all visitors to pay $6 for admission to the museum and the Riley Children's Health Sports Legends Experience®! Tickets can be purchased on-site, but we strongly encourage online purchasing. When you buy ahead, you beat the crowds and enjoy every minute of your time at the museum!

Access Pass
Access PassWe are proud to join forces with other local museums and cultural attractions to make fun family learning more accessible. Indiana families enrolled in CSFP, HIP, Hoosier Healthwise, SNAP and/or TANF can visit the museum—including the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience®—for only $2 per person, per visit.
Access Pass families can discover the extraordinary as frequently as they want. The Access Pass is good for $2 admission at 13 other Indiana cultural attractions and 11 historic state sites. Enroll in the Access Pass program online, or visit the museum or other participating locations to fill out an application and submit the required documents.
